Berlin Fashion Week 2016July 03, 2016
This was my first time at the Berlin Fashion Week and it was an amazing experience. Since it was my first time there I wanted to check it out in peace without stressing about promoting my blog, connecting with others or creating content for my blog. But here is a little recap of what I experienced and I promise next time I go - which should be in January - there will be more insight and better pictures (these were all taken by phone)!
First of all, this is what I wore. I didn't get a chance to document my third outfit, but it was more casual since I was traveling back home afterwards.
I took my sister along - check out her instagram @allyisbl
We went to four fashion shows and we missed our fifth one, because our schedule was so full and I just simply forgot. We had amazing seats, once even first row! The pictures above are from the APART and Heymann shows. It was harder to take pictures in the Mercedes Benz shows, so I don't have any from there. My absolut favorite show was the Wataru Tominaga show. It was more "art as fashion" which I enjoy most on runways.
We had the chance to visit all exhibitions but we only got around to walking through Premium and Panorama. The exhibitions are huge! We had so little time we didn't see it all. Premium was my favorite though.
I participated in two blogger events, but my schedule was so packed that it all didn't work out so that I missed big parts of the events and did not meet as many people. But next time! In advance I was in contact with Imena and Louise, two truly lovely bloggers, with whom I loved spending some time. Click their names to check out their blogs!
I am truly looking forward to next time!
