This is a trend I have been seeing everywhere on the internet over the past few months. It is nothing new but something very beautiful. I've always liked the mid-length pleated skirts but I like them even more now since they are in metallic colors. My favorite color of the season is probably silver. I just feel drawn towards it when I see it in stores. However unfortunately I don't see myself wearing the midi pleated skirts. I know that if I bought one it'd hang in my closet and just collect dust. I'd probably wear it once or twice but that's about it. On the one hand I think I should tell myself to step outside of my comfort zone and just push myself to make it an everyday piece. On the other hand I am actually a bit proud of myself for not buying it just because it is pretty, but actually thinking and make a wise decision. Also check out my pinterest board «here».

If I bought a midi pleated skirt, I would go for a black, like this on from Esprit, which you can still get a black friday deal on until monday. Or of course a silver skirt, like this one from Topshop.
