This is not a paid article, this is me showing my favorite things by one of my favorite stores. I haven't really shopped much online this year and when I do, it's usually off of asos.com. Since it's the Christmas season and I was looking for gifts to give and wishes for myself I actually went through Monkis complete online shop and picked out my favorite items. Once again, this is NOT sponsored, I really like these items and wish they could call my closet their 'home'. Let me know which is your favorite!
1. Sweatshirt Dress - I usually find these types of dresses don't suit me since I don't have a curvy body shape which means it usually just looks like a sack on me but I like how they used the cross body bag to give the outfit more shape.
2. Long Fishnet Top - I'd wear this underneath a black shirt or hoodie as an interesting layer, I find I'm drawn to different textures and I'm also trying to incorporate more color into my wardrobe.
3. Faux Shearling Denim Coat - I saw Ricci from ToThe9s mention it in a haul (they also have it featured in this video «click») and instantly added to my wishlist.
4. Shiny Vinyl Coat - about two months ago I found a similar one at Mango but didn't feel like splurging then so I was super happy to find this one at Monki, I just love how shiny it is.
5. Mesh Top - It's mesh, it's yellow, kinda obvious why I love it.
1. Zip Case - if you know me at all you know I love organizing things and even in my backpack I like things to be sorted neatly so I can find things better. I used to have a pink one from Monki I received from my parents a few Christmases back but it's kinda falling apart now.
2. Loafer Mules - to be honest I'm not sure how much wear I'd get out of these but I do think they'd look nice with long wide pants.
3. Studded Eyelet Belt - I don't wear belts often because well frankly I'm just too lazy but I feel like this one would add a nice touch to an outfit.
4. Circle Key Chain - a metal key chain like this is something I've been noticing quite a lot over the past months and I'd like to give it a try and hang it onto some pants.
5. Oversized Scarf - the red would add a nice accent to my grey and black coats this winter.
6. Cross Shoulder Bags - I like both of the designs and mainly added them to wear with the sweater dress above.
7. Knitted Ring Choker - I'm curious to see if this could keep my neck warm.
8. Velvet Backpack - velvet, my favorite. My black backpack is slowly coming apart a bit and I thought this would be nice to give the other one a break every now and then.
9. Chunky Chelsea Boots - I just love the bright white, love chunky shoes and I used to be a huge fan of chelsea boots. Now it's all combined in one boot!
10. Big Tote Bag - same as to the backpack, plus it'd be nice to have a tote again, my old one isn't in a very good shape anymore.
1. Pinstripe Velvet Trousers - um this one is self explanatory, velvet duh. Plus the cut is amazing.
2. Corduroy Trousers - corduroy is a material that's starting to gain my interest. It used to be this 'old people material' at least that's what I thought since that's all my German grandfather wears but I'm really starting to like it. I saw a corduroy jacket on Stradivarius.de but they didn't offer a color I liked which I'm still sad abut.
3. Red Pleather Pants - what's not to love about these? Such an eyecatcher!
4 . Wide Leg Trousers - I've been searching for a nice pair of wide leg trousers for a while, some that are longer than my culottes so I can wear them during the colder months as well.
Check out Monki «here» to find the pieces mentioned above.
